Their story — in their own words

Cheyanne's son, Urijah who is almost 4 years old recently got admitted to the hospital due to concerning symptoms. They did imaging and found he had around a golf ball sized mass on part of his brain. They took him for surgery and removed the entire mass on 12/31. Praise Jesus!

Urijah still has a long way to recovery ahead of him and is also waiting on the results of the biopsy to see if the mass is cancerous or benign so he will still be in the hospital for at least another week. There is a lot of uncertainty ahead for this family and with Cheyanne being by his side and missing work, the family is going to need assistance financially for medical bills and food.

I know how scary it can be for a family to go through a possible cancer diagnosis and the waiting and the unknowns as I used to be a former pediatric cancer nurse. But now as a mother of a little one, I cant imagine being on that side of it with him being so young.

Any financial contribution will go towards hospital bills and any other expenses as Cheyanne focuses on her son's healing. Please consider supporting this family.

We thank you in advanced for any help and if you're unable to donate we ask that you come along side of them and pray for them. Specifically for prayers of healing after his surgery, for the biopsy results to come back benign, for no long term neurological side effects that could happen after surgery, for finances to be provided so Cheyanne can focus on being there for her son, for Jesus to calm Cheyanne's fears, worries, anxiety. We also ask for the Holy Spirit to move and be present in those caring for Urijah and that her family, and faith, and Urijah's story would just be a witness to them of the mighty power of Jesus and we know that He can still do miracles and is still a healing, working God.

Cheyanne will update here as often as she is able but we thank you for coming along side this family in any way you're able.
